We decided to take an early camping trip to one of our favorite sites Craigleith Provincial Park. The park is located in between the town of Thornbury and Collingwood Ontario on the shores of Georgian Bay. We were very surprised at how busy the camp site was being early April. The weather forecast wasn’t the best but it never is when one is camping. We have a 28′ travel trailer that we do all off our camping in so I’d really call it Glamping lol. It has all the luxuries of home including heat! We had fun just driving around looking for nice things to photograph. I had my medium format Mamiya RZ67 loaded with Kodak Ektar 100 film with me. We went to one of our favorite pubs in the area which is called the Dam Pub. It’s well known for it’s selection of whiskies. Mot that we are whisky drinkers lol. We just love to sit at the cosy bar and have a pint. We were lucky to see a great Irish folk band playing while we wee there propping up the bar. We are scheduled to go back up early May. And next week we will be in Ottawa for the weekend. Hopefully I’ll get to do some long exposure night photography.
