We went on another Saturday outing to our favorite city Toronto. The weather cooperated so we were able to complete our usual walk from the Rex Jazz club all the way down to Ossington. There are a few photo galleries along the way and one was having a Vivian Maier showing. They had a bunch of original prints that were spectacular. I find her stuff a great story through the eye of an ordinary person which is inspiring to me. The photographs were beautifully printed and displayed to bring out their true art. Vivian Maier took photographs of normal everyday scenes and transformed them into art. Art form a non artist!
“We have to make room for other people. It’s a wheel. You get on. You go to the end. And someone else has the same opportunity to go to the end. And so on. And somebody else takes their place.” Vivian Maier
