After spending the night in Clarksdale MS we headed further down south. We did get to see Watermelon Slim preform at Red’s Bar in Clarskdale which was pretty incredible. $2 beer and great Delta Blues music. Red’s bar is more like a junk shop which only holds approximately 20-30 people at most. As we headed further south we decided to have a look at the famous Po’ Monkeys Lounge. This place is nothing more than a wooded shack but has all the charm one needs. It was quite sunny and bright but I manged to take a few photographs with the Hasselblad 500cm loaded with FujiColor Pro 160S film. We also visited Aleck Millers grave site and the famous Dockery Farms.
