My buddy and his brother are big Blues fans, roots Blues that is. They had been planning a Delta Blues trip for quite some time. They asked if I’d like to go along for some good music and to sort of document the trip with some analog photography. Hell yes! We drove to Buffalo International Airport and flew from there to Memphis Tennessee. We rented a car and the plan was to drive down the “Delta” right to New Orleans. Our first visit was the actually city of Memphis. From what we saw it was a bit touristy for my lickings. We wanted to find those original bars that the roots guys played in. I took the Hasselblad 500cm medium format camera and some FujiColor Pro 160S film.
