Mamiya RZ67 Kodak Portra – Burlington in Autumn

I took advantage of some nice Fall colors this season. I took the Mamiya RZ67 camera out loaded with some Kodak Portra 160 film and had a walk around downtown Burlington. I just love the Bokeh created with the Sekor Z 110mm f/2.8 W lens. During this outing I tried to create some photographs with a definite theme, I tried to find shapes and shadows in the scenes. I’m really looking to figure out what it is in film photography I like, shapes and shadows, multiple exposure, night photography are just a few I’m very interested in. I plan on building this site to be a valuable resource for film photographers everywhere. I’ll review photography books I’ve purchased over the years and also review the photographers I admire and look up to. Here’s to great things coming in the future on this photography blog!

“To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.” Henri Cartier-Bresson
