Ethan and Jo – Pentax 6×7 Village Square Sessions

Ethan and Jo – Pentax 6×7 Village Square Sessions

Ethan and Jo – Pentax 6×7. I bought my first Medium Format camera March 2010, and have never looked back since. It was an Asahi Pentax 6×7 medium Format camera, purchased from Japan on eBay. The camera produces negatives 6 cm by 7 cm. It comes with the standard Super-Takumar f2.4 105mm lens which equates to approximately 50mm in 35mm format. These two shots of my boys were taken in Burlington Ontario down in the “Village Square”. This was my first roll of medium format film and first film since going to digital. The Pentax 6×7 is a heavy beast but isn’t too heavy that one could carry it around. I scanned these negatives using an Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner. I used FujiColor Pro 160S 120 film for these shots.
